Stop eating McDonald’s bullsh*t fries and make your own at home. Here’s what to do.

Ingredients:
– Russet Potatoes (or similar)
– Neutral Oil (for frying)
– Salt

Step 1: Prep & Soak the Potatoes
Scrub the potatoes well before cutting them into thin strips.

Fill a bowl with cold water, add the potatoes, and let them soak for at least 30 minutes to remove the excess starch. Remove to a towel and pat dry.

Step 2: Triple-Fry the Potatoes
Fry #1:
Preheat the oil to 325º before adding the potatoes to blanch for 1-2 minutes. Remove from the fryer onto a wire rack before placing in the freezer for 30 minutes to chill.

Fry #2:
Keep the oil at 325º, drop in the chilled potatoes, and fry for around 2 minutes. Remove to a wire rack and let them cool completely at room temperature.

Fry #3:
Increase the oil temperature to 350º before frying the potatoes for the third and final time. Cook for around 2 minutes, or until they’re perfectly golden and crispy.

Season fresh out of the fryer, while they’re still hot, and serve with your favorite dipping sauces.

If the CEO of McDonald’s won’t even eat the food that they’re serving, none of us should be.

Seriously, homemade fries are so easy to make, so incredibly delicious, and aren’t full of bullsh*t chemicals. Try this recipe and let me know what you think.

  1. 17 ingredients on a mickey D. fries and 27 on the nuggets You're addicted to the chemicals people cause it's not food

  2. As soon as you dip fry anything in seed oil its bullshit home or not. Go owen potatetos with a bit of olive oil and carrots for a bit of sweet touch.

  3. You make me want to drive to Detroit just to eat your food. You are so real.

  4. The ketchup your dipping your fries in has more chemicals than McDonald fries
Don’t know what to eat anymore

  5. It would have ben so informative were it not for the temperatures. At 350 degrees you will have fries turned to coal in a minute.

Wait, the oil will have caught fire long before that.
