Frozen French fries. Start out by washing and cutting your potatoes into French fries. Once cut, place in an ice bath for 10 minutes. While in the ice bath, boil a large pot of water. After the 10 minutes, place your fries in the boiling water. Blanch for 3-5 minutes. After blanching, place in another ice bath for 10 minutes. After the 10 minutes, remove fries and place on a towel to pat dry. Once dry, place on a baking sheet to flash freeze. Place fries in a single layer and freeze for 2 hours. Once frozen, place your fries in bags. Now how to bake?? Place your frozen French fries on a baking sheet, spray with oil (I like avocado) and your preferred seasonings. Bake at 450 for 25-30 minutes or until desired crispiness – making sure to flip every now and again. And just like that, we made homemade frozen French fries. #nospend #budget #Budgeting #baking #cooking #madefromscratch #homemade #homemadefood #foodpreservation #vacuumseal #freezer #deepfreezer #kitchenrestock #preservingfood #freezerstash #mealplanning #mealprepping #homemadekitchenrestock #hacks #KitchenHacks #kitchenstaples #homemadecooking #freezingf

This is the level of petty i aim to be one day. Well done 👏 😂
What's disgusting is how organized and tidy your freezer is. In mine I just toss and hope the door will shut. 😂 (yours makes my OCD very happy.) ❤🐞
Why are people complaining that you are doing right by the world by using your perfect clean and functional teatowels? Some people gotta get a life. Don’t listen hun, I take it as a sign you’re a REAL cook.
Your content is inspiring! Great job! 😊
Why insult grandma's while being petty, lol.
If all your kitchen towels look pristine, you're not using them. They wear, stain, and rip with cooking, canning and everyday use. Anyway, do you ever fry your frozen fries or just bake?
Light hearted/Your freezer is disgusting. Look at that organization! The freeze dried bags sucked up air so can make more space! I love it omg I just really love how neat it is in there
I could look at it for ages in beauty
You can invite me over anytime🐯your food looks delicious and you are saving your 4 kids lives by feeding them homemade🫐🌒🧚🏼
What’s really funny is I think I have the same towels and close to the same condition. I am an ingredient scratch cook who rarely eats out. So maybe instead of being a sign of disgusting it’s a sign of a great cook!!
If they are clean what does it matter. A friggin towel is a towel. I couldnt be a content creator id be in jail. I give you credit, you were a lot nicer than i could be. I love your videos, screw these shit heads.
Oooh I love that towel! It looks super soft!!!! I use all white towels so I can wash them in the hottest water. I have dust cloths (flour sack towels) that look so bad and stained but they are super clean, plus I can throw in a dash of bleach now and again.
I'm so overjoyed I found your channel!
I'm African and the nice towels are for dinner, elders and guests lol. I pat chips with the clean towels that have lived hard long enough hehe and paper towels. And we also micro fiber clothes for other things.
And freezing them changes the starch causing it to be processed better for diabetes. Bcuz I’m extremely petty 😂
It’s literally a towel that works in a kitchen. If you’re a cook you use them.
Honestly, their only reason to saying stupid stuff like this; is because they are to lazy to do it themselves 😂😂 DoorDash your way into debt if it works for you 😂😂
All my towels are stained lol and my family hasn't gotten sick so lol
Thank you! I live on my own and will buy a bag of potatoes thinking i will eat the whole bag and end up letting some sit until they go bad because i really wanted only some of them. This made me think, i could buy those potatoes, cut them in chunks and fries, do this exact process, and freeze the chunks for using to make mashed potatoes or potato soup or what ever along with making fries and not waste the potatoes.
People living on Pinterest and catalogue fantasy 😄
I never bought kitchen towels in my life! I just use them until they almost fall apart and my mother in law cannot look at it anymore and buys us new ones.😂 Thank you for this french fries idea, I had no idea I could freeze them! My kids love them, so will try! ❤
“If your towels aren’t stained are you even cooking?” SO TRUE. My family gets mad at my towels for having stains even if I’ve freshly washed them. Sorry I actually use them for what their for 🤷🏻♀️
I love your stained and fancy towels! That's totally my vibe! 😂
I totally felt your torn red kitchen towel. I know how that feels in my hand!! Love that feeling of used cotton.
I love to do homemade freezer hashbrowns ! Similar process, different outcome lol😊
GrandMa's wouldn't complain about your towels. We also have them kind of towels. that means there well used. It's the people that don't know how to cook. and everything is ONLY for decoration
Oh, i have a whole hierarchy of rags and towels. Frays do not mean germs. But the internet is a cruel place. Hopefully whatever monetization you are achieving compensates for negativity.
Towels look used but clean. Mine are the same
If yours are stained then ours are old, burnt en torn 😂😂😂😂 those ones are just jealous 🤘🤘
Oh my goodness, look at your freezer!!!😮😮😮 mine is shove it in and hope for the best that i find what i'm looking for the next time i open it 😂😂 theres too much emphasis now on having things pristine, everything matching etc! If theres a stain on something, so what, doesnt mean its not clean and who cares about a blooming rip! Theres too many people throwing things away nowadays when theres absolutely no need to
I'd love to try doing this but i had an epic fail trying to freeze carrots!! I followed instructions i found, put in the ice bath and froze but they seemed to retain water so could only use them for stew 😢 but i think i'll try just a small.amount of spuds and see will it work
My kitchen towels ( i call them tea towels) are used only for the kitchen and then are washed separately.
"if you don't have stained towels, are you even cooking?" YES! THANK YOU FOR SAYING IT! My mom occasionally tells me really dramatically for example "nooo don't wipe that (berry juice) with the kitchen towel, it'll get stained!" As if I'm supposed to use paper roll for every. single. spill. That's literally what kitchen towels are for!
Edit: stained and ripped up doesn't mean dirty. I wash my towels with laundry sanitizer every time
honestly crazy how much brainwashing it took to make people believe filling landfills was more hygienic than washing a towel
Please use gloves next time..thank you! 😅
If your towels look exactly like the day you bought them I assume you really aren’t cooking. 🤷♀️
My grandma made decorative towels she meant to be used. And mine have battle fading.
When they are unusable, i hope to my replacements made and ready to go. I have some great ideas for embroidering when i get the towels.
I love how the embroidery floss held it's color through the decades. Even with daily use and frequent washing. And even managed to avoid whatever stain that colored the cloth underneath.
Stains are stains. I wouldn't have a towel if i tossed every stained one. I already cant afford new ones.
Bet they would have a fit over my (not preused) cloth daiper towels i use because they are indestructible. The used ones became guinea pig bedding, but i got those suckers so clean they never stained. Kitchen use got the towel ones, though.
Highly recommend looking into new cloth daipers for towels. The flat kind. The pre-sewn folded ones make great scrubbing rags, but are less useful for towels. I remember having to get my flat ones online. I preferred them to pre-fold liners at home.
I have towels just like yours. Nothing matches and my favourite have holes
"Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. Let all that you do be done with love." ( 1 Corinthians 16: 13-14)
God Bless you all!!! Jesus loves you, and so do I!!!
I guess all the haters would be shocked to find out that restaurant kitchens use the same towels over and over for the exact same thing thanks to the power of washing machines.
❤
Aerosol oil
It's funny that people that aren't feeding, fkn, or financing you think you give a shit what they think….
I subscribed for the fancy towels😅
Me and my husband have GOT to try this!!! 👏🏼
Bringing my youth back. I love canning. When kids were young, we went to grocery store for only kids wanting treats. So satisfying. My towels are stained 😂😂
