Morning coffee has never been so easy! Keep things simple but great, with knowing how to get the best out of your French Press coffee.

Brewing Recipe:
You will need:
A French Press
A grinder
A kettle
A timer
Freshly roasted filter coffee
Table Spoons

Prepare 20g of ground coffee
Grind size similar to coarsely ground pepper
Preheat french press with hot water
Drain water out
Put in the ground coffee
Pour 300ml (10oz) at 95C (203F)
Start the timer
Leave to bloom for 30 seconds
Gently stir crust on top
Put the lid on to maintain the brewing temperature
Take the lid out at 3:00
Use 2 tablespoons to gently skim the crust on top, then compost
Put the lid back on and make sure the outlet is facing the spout
Slowly plunge to filter out the particles as much as possible
Stop upon the coffee bed
Carefully Pour it out into a vessel as keeping the lid steady with one hand

Pro Tip:
Make sure your grind is not too fine! The wrong grind size will allow fine coffee particles to pass through the screen creating a “muddy” cup and leave sediment in the bottom of your brew.
