Here is how to make these breakfast sandwiches! Bacon Ingredients • 16 oz bacon • 1/3 cup brown sugar • Black pepper Instructions Preheat the oven to 400. Cut the bacon strips in half. On a baking sheet, lay 3 strips of bacon side by side, then layer 3 more strips on top going in the opposite direction to create a lattice pattern. Repeat to make 5-6 bacon squares, depending on how much bacon you have. Evenly sprinkle the brown sugar over the top and finish with a little black pepper. Bake for 12 minutes, then switch to broil and cook until the bacon is crisp and caramelized. French Toast Ingredients • 1 loaf milk bread or brioche • 4 eggs • 1/2 cup milk • 1 cup heavy cream • 2 tbsp maple syrup • 1 tsp vanilla extract • 2 tbsp butter, for cooking Instructions In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, maple syrup, and vanilla. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the butter. Dip each piece of bread into the egg mixture, then add to the skillet. Cook for about 2 minutes per side, or until golden brown. Eggs Ingredients • 2 eggs per sandwich • Cheese of choice Instructions Preheat a skillet over medium high heat. Whisk the eggs together and pour them into the pan, tilting if needed to create an even layer. Place a slice of cheese in the center, then fold the edges of the egg inward to form a square. Assembly To assemble, place a slice of French toast on the bottom, top with the egg square, then the bacon lattice, and finish with another slice of French toast. Serve with maple syrup for dipping and enjoy!
