We’ve just moved into our first flat, the hallway is tiny (no room for any shoe racks or anything) but we have painted it this colour (whole flat was grey when we moved in) I just want it to feel a bit more homely before I go on maternity leave next week and am at home all the time! Any ideas?

If you are renting, probably best to just get a watmer bulb and put a runner on the floor
Homey generally means soft textures. The only soft texture you can really do in a hallway is a rug. You could also try matching the doors to the trim. But that seems like a lot for the immediate future.
