  1. Do protests really factor in to eating out???
Maybe?? Surely not as much as the cost of living though??…. anti immigration protests driven by the logical reason for the cost of living and housing crisis???
What a whirl wind of blame shifting journalism!! Good goy!!!

  2. * FLASH FORWARD 2 YEARS LATER ** > 7 News Story – French Fine Dining Closes, Blames Cost of Living and High Rental in CBD

  3. No….closing because of weekly protests?? How could this be ….I was thinking it's because the covid the lockdowns the employees left Vic to the Goldcoast , but not because trans/Gazza/lefties/antifa/nazi/idiots protests …no way …

  4. It's a good idea, keep the portions on the smaller side so people order more than one dish. There was a Yakitori place on Bourke St about 30 years where most of the dishes were around $5, you'd get a couple of skewers or whatever on each plate but it was impossible to stop at one, before you knew it you'd spent $30.

  5. The protestors are basically destroying the state. Can we start shutting it down? Give people the powers.

  6. Well, conservative fucked media trying to create trouble where there really shouldn't be. We protest against the fucking racists so that more Frenchies, etc, will still come here!

  7. Did you notice the cheap shot at anti Geno-cide protester they are to blame for 1 in 10 restaurants closing down? Fuk u channel 7!

  8. Bull5h1t news – “protestors” brought business into the city when Covid killed the cities. Channel 7 lies like channel 9.

Look at business figures before and after protests.

  9. $14? That’s amazing 🤩 but that’s not sustainable for his business 😟

What if they get 5 customers all day? That’s like $70 then he’ll have to up the price because of business demands etc

  10. Its a good idea for the customer $14 per meal but as a chef I know it will not last. 200 meals per day is only $2,800 wouldn't even cover staff cost food cost and all business costs.
