Hello! I recently bought a home that was flipped very blandly. I’m slowly working to give things more character, but the kitchen is just too expensive to tackle right now. In the next 5 years, I will do a full update with new cabinets and countertops, but can’t yet. Any ideas how I can give this basic kitchen some character? Or any lower budget (less than $1-3k) updates I could make to the kitchen in the interim to help?
I don’t like how the cabinets don’t go up to the ceiling and they just stop. Could trim be added to the top?
I also don’t like how to fridge isn’t closed in with cabinetry, but I’m not sure anything can be done there since the cabinets above the fridge are so shallow.
