Hi! First time posting in this subreddit but I’m not sure where else to look for ideas at this point. Excuse the messy room, that’s not the point of this post.
Short story, my parents and I moved last year into a new home and the unfurnished basement became my bedroom. Minus the current mess, my room has a lot of potential and I’m happy with my space! Except for the ceiling.
I considered tapestries but I’m fearful of spiders nesting. Plus I would have to order several and figure out the size for each. Posters wouldn’t lie flat, faux tiles are too expensive and come in small amounts. Not to mention I have no clue about the pipes and ducts, minus wrapping some fairy lights around them.
If anybody has any cost efficient ideas to cover my ceiling, PLEASE comment. I am out of ideas and Reddit is my last hope. 🙏
