We converted our dining room into a play room for my son and I am wondering what color to paint the bottom? The top used to be gray and I painted it white in anticipation of painting the bottom pinkish/mauve, but now I am worried that the pink will clash with the orange tones in our hardwood floor. The first two pictures are of the actual room, and the last few are ChatGPT mock-ups of various colors. It's in the central area of our house so we don't want it to look too "nursery-like", but we don't mind repainting in a few years when we reconvert to a dining room, so it doesn't need to necessarily work as a dining room yet. Any suggestions are welcome!

Mauve or the dark slate blue
The dark blue looks really nice!
That’s a beautiful rug!! I think I’d go with the dark blue but then bring in the mauve accents with things like cushions. Or vice versa works, they’re both nice colours.
