What temperature zone are you in? Perhaps a flowering bougainvillea?

I would add more landscaping around the pergola and against the wall – maybe some evergreens and a surrounding garden area. Improving the appearance at the base of the house will draw the eye downward and diminish focus on the empty wall space.

Maybe you could attach some pretty outdoor wall art. Sun/moon sort of thing. I have this in my back yard area, although it’s more accessible than your space 🤷♀️

Black Sabbath poster.
How much dough you got?
If I had enough money I’d put a nice balcony up there. That window, depending on where it is, could be a sliding glass door.
Otherwise, maybe trellis and pretty vines?
Not sure what behind it inside but could you add a big window?
