Is this rug too small? There is only 14” of extra width — 7” on each side. My couch is huge and this room is quite long. The photo with the tape measure shows a 14’ rug length (current rug length is 11’9”).
There is much to do in this space but I am afraid to get started without being sure about the rug. Maybe I am overthinking. I included an AI generated photo in case that helps. I also included the view from the other side so you can see the oddity that this room is. My couch is huge. I love this rug (Quince) so much, and I already bought and retuned one before this, which is a huge pain, but I also want to be sure especially considering the cost.

I would push the rug back to the wall so the couch is all the way on it
I think it’s just the right size. If you went larger, you may as well get wall to wall carpeting. It creates a cozy, centralized space.
