Little bites, BIG flavor! Caramelized onions and melty brie wrapped up in crispy perfection!🔥
Ingredients:
1 tbsp Dan-O’s Dips French Onion
4.5-6 ounces brie cheese
2 tbsp butter
Honey
Crushed pistachios
1 frozen puff pastry box
1 yellow onion, sliced
Preparation Instructions:
1. Crank that oven up to 400°F and get it ready. Have your puff pastry thawed, but refrigerated.
2. Slice up your onions and melt the butter in a sauté pan over medium-low heat. Toss in the onions and let ’em start softening. Once they’re nice and tender, sprinkle in 1 tbsp Dan-O’s Dips French Onion and let those onions cook low and slow for 15–30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they’re deeply caramelized and packed with flavor.
3. While those onions are doin’ their thing, thaw your puff pastry, roll it out, and cut it into 12 equal pieces. Gently press each piece over the holes of a muffin tin to form little pastry cups.
4. Cut the brie into 12 equal pieces and drop one into each pastry cup. Drizzle with a little honey—easy now, a little goes a long way.
5. Spoon those caramelized onions right on top, then finish with a sprinkle of crushed pistachios for that extra crunch.
6. Pop ’em in the oven and bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the pastry is puffed up and golden and the cheese is soft and melty.
7. Pull ’em out, serve ’em up warm, and watch ’em disappear. Yum Yum Get Ya Sum!®
