Okay, I’m ready to admit it: I have a black thumb💀. I’ve tried the real plant thing, and it usually ends in a slow, brown tragedy. So, I’m going 100% artificial this time.
My living room has a lot of clean lines and open space, which I like, but it feels a bit "cold" and needs some life. I’m torn between these two from GARVEE:
- Option A (The tall, skinny tropical one): I love how airy and minimal it is. It fits the "clean" vibe, but is it too thin?
- Option B (The Fiddle Leaf Fig): Definitely has more "presence" and feels cozier, but I’m worried it might be too bulky for the corner.
Which one would you pick for this space? Also, where would you actually put it? I'm terrible at placement, so any tips are welcome!

Option B is better. Here is the reason.
It has more presence and brings the organic warmth and life your clean, open living room is missing. The broader leaves add cozy texture that contrasts nicely with the straight lines and minimal vibe, perfect balance without feeling too bulky (pick a 5-6ft version).
The tall skinny tropical one is safer and airier, but it won’t warm up the space as much and might still feel a bit “cold.”
Place it in the corner near the gallery wall for best impact. It’ll instantly make the room feel more alive!
