No kids. No pets. No shoes. No food or drinks. Maybe water.

If you like it that’s great.
To me, it looks try hard and uncomfortable.
Surly_Sailor_420
I was RUIN that room.
Pupsplantscheese
That rug looks cozy but because the sofas don’t have legs and the colours are similar whites it all just blends together. Need contrast for sure and would start with the rug. A darker rug will also make the coffee table stand out more which will be good because it does look a little small for the scale of your sofas.
helluvapotato
I personally dislike the ceiling light fixture.
And yeah, like others have said, add color.
whatswrongwithgore
Dull. And the ceiling light is too large for that room. I would definitely be adding color and art also
big-dipper-jess
The ceiling light is awesome. Make the rest of the room as cool as the light and you’ll have something great. Right now it looks like a waiting room.

Looks to comfortable but a room your not allowed to go in

Perhaps I’m the only one here to say that this is FABULOUS! I am bias because my furniture and rugs are white also!! The 2nd pic is so inviting and warm. To each their own, I guess!!

You don’t have children.

I think the tv is way too high and this looks overall more like staging rather than actual living

Huh, not a fan!
I’ll see myself out…

Who is that TV for?
Purple_Muffin7611
do you even use it? lol it has the opposite of comfy and warm vibe
Massive_Border_3891
I like it. It is unique. Not everyone likes living with color. This has a peaceful vibe. Do what YOU like. I think you could do a larger coffee table as the sofas are quite large. Same for tv console. It could be much bigger. But, in the meantime, it’s pretty cool.

I think it looks dreamy. Its like living on a cloud.

A friend of mine used to have that light! Always reminded me of a big chic hat.
AstralProjectingPita
It feels a space where I’d sit across from God (played by Morgan Freeman) as he tells me that I’m actually dead.

That thing on the ceiling looks too big for that room. Otherwise room looks too sterile.

I like the ceiling light. The room looks restful and nice. Not every room has to have color.

The coffee table is way too small. It’s not the right scale for those couches. You should find something that is a little bit longer and wider. In general 18 inches from each sofa. Everyone should be able to reach it.
UnicornOnTheJayneCob
I think it is beautiful. Very serene AND comfortable-looking at the same time, with interesting little ornamental touches and textures. That said, it would last approximately 4 days like that in my household.
Brilliant_Steak_1328
I love it, but I too don’t have children & don’t let people wear their shoes in the house.
zippinthru
I love it. I love a statement light fixture. Couches aren’t my personal taste but if they’re comfy then who cares

This is amazing!!
Cali-Doll
I absolutely love it!! 🤍🤍
It’s so cozy.
xoxotoe
Yes exactly, precisely. A haven, the couches look comfy, and that rug!
xrizzointhebox
It’s beautiful however everything is a bit too low for my preference.
AgencyUsual481
Where are the books? In any case it does remind me of the 70s. And… the coffee table would do better to have round edges and books and coffee.
DisastrousCampaign6
I do love it, but this style is not popular with the reddit crowd.

As a person who LOVES color, I actually really like the off white fluff of this room. My problem is with the couch set up, it’s so awkward for watching tv with people. I can only see 2 people laying across with their heads on the ends of the couches in order to watch it comfortably
lazypuppycat
I would prefer a ceiling fixture that uses more tones like something wood or maybe a paper lantern or brass. Preferably wood because it’s more timeless imo. Other than that, I think this looks minimal and easy on the eyes
ReverieAt3
I try and keep an open to mind to other peoples style and just because it’s not full of color doesn’t mean it’s bad.
I’ve used that light fixture before in one of my designs, I think it’s cool. I appreciate the shaggy area rug, it brings an airy/whimsical feeling to the room while adding texture. I like the variation of white with a small touch of black.
I do agree with others saying to add some art though 🤍

It desperately needs some color for contrast.
