Living Room Slanted Wall

Hello all!

I'm set to move into this apt within the next month and given that it will be my first time living alone, I am clueless when it comes to design/decorating any type of space. Specifically I'm not sure how to make the living room flow with the slanted wall.

Ideally the room would include a couch, area rug, mounted tv with a floating media console below it plus some additional seating. Any and all advice is appreciated thank you!!
