My best friend is struggling to figure out what to do about her kitchen. It’s a rental so she can’t do anything about the cabinets or countertop (she hates both) but she can paint. Are there any colors that would go better with the existing counters?

Personally I’d go with a slightly creamy white to brighten up the space. It sounds boring but the kitchen already has a lot going on with the wood and teal laminate countertops.
