Looking for ideas on rug placement and style in my kitchen. I previously had a long and small anti fatigue mat in front of the sink and stove. I have since removed those bc I got new rugs for the house, and they wouldn’t match.
I was originally thinking one large mat in the walkway between the island and stove that reached the sink. My thought is the purpose of an anti fatigue mat is to help you out while you’re standing for long periods of time. I had gotten a long one, but I’ve had to return it bc it wasn’t long and wide enough.
The other thought is just placing one small mat in front of the sink and stove.
Not sure about color scheme though. I’ve included photos of the rugs that are closest to the kitchen area which I’d need to flow with. Color scheme in house is neutral and earthy.
