Friends! You’re all geniuses with color and undertones and I would love your advice.
Our home was built in 2021 and is very gray/ cool toned. We purchased last year and after living with it I have been reminded that I am not a gray girlie; why I thought it would be fine is beyond me. 😂
At this time we have no budget to redo flooring or countertops, so I am starting with paint. The first pic is the current colors- repose gray on walls, pure white on cabinets and trim, with naval gray accents (all picked by prior owners). They are all cohesive and compliment each other well, but I greatly dislike the cool tones. I am much more a warm neutrals girlie; my current picks in this second picture are neutral ground on the walls, keeping cabinets and trim pure white, and urbane bronze accents. I would also consider switching out the hardware, but not sure if that clashes too much.
I live in the PNW, and most of our daylight is unfortunately north facing so my house already reads very cool even when we have rare sunlight and I want to take it as warm as possible without clashing completely with the current flooring and countertops.
What are your thoughts on this as a color scheme? Any other v you might make? Thanks all!
