I think I want to add a coverlet or quilt to my existing coverlet quilt. The Pendleton is my fav and it stays. What should I add to it. My preference is a natural linen/muslin feel but I’m open to other ideas. Can I add the checkered and pattern mix without it looking unhinged?

I would choose a plain or small pattern that picks up a color from the main blanket.
