This was my husband’s dream to have a built in pantry. I think it was executed beautifully.

You just put part of the kitchen behind a door and made your space difficult to work in

Now show us the dining room table filled with all your spices, snacks, cereals, paper towels, etc., that you set aside for the renovation. I’m kidding, nicely done, OP.

    Looks great! Nice job!
May have been more functional with upper cabinets though.

It’s a small prep room, not a pantry

I hope you put a vent in there! My pantry gets so hot so I can never fully close my pocket door 😓

It’s a beaut Clark, but decidedly more than a pantry lol

I will say this does look really nice, great job!
But I have to ask, why put it behind a door? This looks more like a natural extension of the kitchen (considering some appliances you put in there like the toaster and mixer) and looks like it would be more efficient to have opened up that wall for easy accessibility and an open concept.
Not knocking the choice, just wondering what led to one over the other.
