So I just painted my walls and am doing some redecorating/updating. I am going to replace the light fixture in the image (gold) and want to put SOMETHING on the huge wall at the stair landing.

Any ideas what I could do here? I found a painting that I really like, but not sure it fits. Does the size look OK? Its 36×24. How should I place it on this wall? Like I have it photoshopped above? More centered on the entire wall? Or centered more in line with the landing itself?

Should I go with an oak or black border? Any advice would be super helpful – thank you.

I would say you either need one big thing or lots of little things to try to fill the space a bit more? It’s already quite a plain colour which of course is perfect if that’s what you like, but that painting looks super lonely on its own at that size

Have you considered a photo wall? Or a mural of something similar to the painting?

    Looks good tbh 👌
36×24 is a solid size — won’t feel tiny there. I’d center it with the **landing**, not the whole wall (your mockup is almost perfect).

Frame tip: **black** for a clean, modern look 🖤
If you want something different, Moolwan has **handcrafted wall art / textured panels** that would look amazing here too ✨
