I have very limited knowledge on rugs but know hand knotted wool ones are the most desired. I have a garage studio to decorate and currently in the market for a rug.
I love the design of this but just checking if it all adds up and is worth its price.

Looks like an Indian hand knotted Oushak rug. The close up shows knots, so it could be legit. “Angora wool” is often marketing; ask what the warp and weft are and request a photo of the back and side binding. At 270×380, 3k NZD is plausible if it’s all wool and returnable. Garage chairs and dust will be rough on it.
