For context, the entire upper floor of our house is this light tan color. We had some paint flaking on the wall above our fireplace, and after I get it prepped I'm going to repaint.
I have been considering painting just that wall a navy/blue color. I'd love to do a green, but that paired with our red flooring just screams Christmas to me.
So, will I regret painting the wall a shade of blue? Photos of our flooring and rug for context.

i think a navy might be too dark, maybe a lighter blue?
if you regret it, paint it back white. You are exchanging your time for the chance to make your living room your own space.
Some blues have green undertones, I might remove those options though.
You look overwhelmed by options. Try narrowing it down so you can imagine it. Pick two. Seriously. Then compare those.
