Crepes are a staple of French cuisine and a favorite in our house. If you’ve ever been to a French restaurant it’s a definite must try. This recipe is the BEST we’ve ever had. They are delicious and have the perfect texture.

Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 cup sourdough discard
11/2 cups whole milk
1 teaspoon sea salt
6 eggs
1 cup all purpose flour
Use a whisk to mix together the discard, milk and eggs. Add the all purpose flour and sea salt and whisk until mostly smooth.
Heat a pan (I used the small round griddle cast iron pan) over medium heat. Add a little bit of butter to your pan then add 1/2 cup of the batter and rotate pan until it coats the bottom of it.
Cook until you see lots of bubbles and it looks cooked through, only about a minute. Flip it and cook another 15 seconds.
We love to serve it with Nutella and cut bananas, but you can do fresh fruit, eggs, ham & cheese. Honestly, there are so many options you can add. Enjoy!!
