🍷 BURGUNDY BEEF RECIPE
Ingredients:
• 2 lb beef chuck, cut into cubes
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 1 onion, chopped
• 2 carrots, chopped
• 8 oz mushrooms
• flour
• 3 cloves garlic
• 2 tbsp tomato paste
• 2 cups dry red wine (Burgundy or Pinot Noir)
• 1 cup beef broth
• 1 tsp thyme
• 1 bay leaf
• Salt & black pepper
• Fresh parsley
Instructions:
1. Brown beef in olive oil until deeply golden.
2. Sauté onion, carrots, mushrooms, and garlic.
3. Add tomato paste, wine, broth, thyme, and bay leaf.
4. Return beef, cover, and simmer 2.5–3 hours until tender.
5. Finish with parsley and serve over mashed potatoes.
