  1. French Onion Lasagna

    • 1 lb Lasagna Noodles – cooked (you could use “oven ready”)

    • 2.25 lbs Ground Beef – cooked, drained

    • 3 lbs White Onions – sliced

    • ½ cup Butter (1 stick for onions and 1 for sauce)

    • 12 slices Swiss Cheese

    • 1/3 cup flour

    • 1 qrt milk

    • 1 tsp Salt

    • 1 tsp Pepper

    • 8-10 oz Gruyere Cheese shredded (6 for sauce – 2-4 to top)

    • Package of Crispy Fride Onion Strings/Straws

    Caramelize onions

    Medium heat, sliced onions, 1 stick of butter, stir constantly

    Sauce

    Melt butter, add flour, cook down flour for a couple minutes at medium-medium low temp, stir constantly, add salt and pepper, gradually add milk, once thickened add gruyere, remove from heat.

    Build your layers, save sauce for top, to keep top layer moist, bake at 350 for 1 hour.
