Spytail Ginger Spiced Rum Review from Cognac in France
I’m on a mission to find my favourite Spiced Rum and make up some great Spiced Rum Cocktails Recipes. Every month there are new Spiced Rum Brands trying to be the Best Spiced Rum on the market. In this Video I’ve got a review of Spytail Ginger Spiced Rum. Spytail is a French brand and they are from Cognac in France. The import Caribbean rum from Trinidad and Guyana, then go about blending the rums together then infuse the final base rum with Fresh Ginger. That Rum is then aged in Cognac Barrels for up to 30 Days.
Mixing wise, well first up, it is lovely neat. Because of the cognac barrel aging, it’s super smooth to drink neat. As a mixer though, I preferred Spytail with Coke. Fentimans Tropical Soda worked quite well. Fever Tree Ginger Ale worked quite well. But for me, it’s a Coke serve, or a neat serve.
