French Bread
2 1/4 cup Warm Water
2 Tbsp Sugar
1 Tbsp Active Dry Yeast
2 1/4 tsp Salt
2a Tbsp Olive Oil
5 1/2-6 Cups All purpose Flour
Proof yeast in warm water and sugar, once fluffy add it to your bowl of flour along with the rest of the ingredients. Mix well, if still sticky add flour and little bit at a time. Kneed for 5 minutes. Add dough to greased bowl, cover with warm wet towel til doubled in size. Once doubled divided into two loaves and shape into log roll, cover with towel and let rise again til double. Score top with sharp knife and bake in a 375 degree F oven til golden brown.
