How does #Germany do that ?
A #regular #size #bottle ( 0.7 litres) of #German #Champaign for 3U$ @ #supermarket .
And in our video it’s at #Rewe supermarket @ #Düsseldorfer #Airport
champagne aka sparkling wine
The German word for ‘German champagne ‘ is : #Sekt ( see also comments )
Sparkling wine from one area in France is marketed as $Champagne. Idea of the French wineries: protecting their know how and stressing that it’s originally an area from France .
EU-27 followed that logic .Other sparkling wines aren’t allowed using champagne as item / product name
However the number of bottles of champagne from #France marketed worldwide can never stem from this one #region only
