  1. It's 8am, and I'm watching you enjoy your escargot, oysters, and bisque, and I want to go there today! OK, I'm going to stop writing and enjoy your meal through the tv now!!! So happy you are liking your meal! Bon Apetit! I had to laugh at you saying things tasted "different" or "weird"…"but in a good way!" I am so "J" of you right now (but in a good way), but so happy for you too! C'est Magnifique!

  2. Merci beaucoup Misty. Je parle fracais un peu, aussi.😂 I like venison. If you bleed it well, it reduces the gaminess. We'd do Molokai a favor if we ate more venison. I'd love to try Michel's. Oysters, lobster bisque, Duck a l'Orange, cherries jubilee… I've got my menu picked out already.

  3. Thank you to viewer KentKiner for suggesting in a comment for me to go here. I hope you all had a Merry Christmas! 🎄🎅

  4. Does that French phrase you said at the beginning of the video translate to: 'I don't speak French" …? I've seen that sign before but didn't have any curiosity about it. Thanks for adding some culture to my knowledge, Misty

  5. A true Waikiki classic. This French restaurant has been serving since 1962—history, elegance, and great food all in one place 🥂

  6. Oh, l'escargo ne bien pas. De homard et les crevettestres bien, oui? Profitez de la norriture food fiend. lol.

  7. I love your fine dining videos! From the amuse-bouche to the dessert, everything looked beautifully presented and delicious! Made me want to visit Hawaii just to try this restaurant!!

  8. So glad you, Terence and Aiden enjoyed yr meals. All the dishes looked delicious. And Misty, you deserve to treat yrself to an expensive meal. No point to wait any longer. Also, great to have a dining partner like Terence who is also a foodie and appreciates good food. Yr dining experience was complete, good food, good service and good company. My only negative on Michel's is the noise level. Anyway, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to you and yr family! Stay well, happy and healthy 💕🙏

  9. Aloha Misty, Aiden and Terrence: Thank you for vlogging about this restaurant. I grew-up in Hawaii, and have heard so much about this French Restaurant in my early days — I had always wondered about it since. Today, I have am glad to be visiting along with all of you. Much mahalo! 😀. The service is impeccable and the food was great looking — must have been really delicious. I am glad to see you all enjoy yourself special treat, especially glad seeing Aiden finish the entire Beef Wellington. Be sure to have a great 2026. Best wishes to you and the ohana, my fellow 🐯. Much aloha and 🤙!

  10. Wow! I so enjoy fine dining with you and Terence! Everything looked amazing! Maybe the Oysters were PNW Washington oysters? I love small oysters. More of this content please!

  11. Everything looked amazing! Fine dining with a casual flare! Thanks again for the yummy review! Btw, Terrance looks amazing, that’s discipline!

  12. I remember, in the 1990's when President Clinton came to Hawaii,
he was suppose to eat at Michel's, but decided he wanted a burger at the Outrigger…
    NUTS!
    ( T , you lost weight…Looking good!)
    Merry Christmas to you all.

  13. I Loved your reviews of Michel's restaurant, it looked fantastic. Merry Christmas 🎄 and a Happy New Year 🎉

  14. Looks Ono! Wow, I didn’t realize that place was still around. Very classic French cuisine. I’m glad they’re not doing a fusion thing. Now I gotta try this place(gotta save up some monies or win big in LV😂). Happy Holidays Misty n Family!

  15. Mele Kalikimaka ame Hauoli Makahiki Hou. OMG I am salivating with every bite 😅 you eat. I checked the menu and it is similar to Haleiwa Joe's. Mahalo for including Terrance and of course Aidan. I've never been there and you have convinced me. Can't wait for your next vlog. Aloha

  16. I will definitely have to take my wife to Michel’s the next time we vacation in Waikiki. I should add my wife loves fine dining so we love your fine dining videos

  17. That food looked ono! Pricy but hey you only live once. Been to Michelle’s a bunch of times. Even back in the 80’s. I always enjoy your clips. First time commenting. Couldn’t help noticing the guy behind you (white shirt/glasses) eyeing 👀 up your camera. 😆

  18. Michel's @ the Colony Surf Hotel! I worked at Michel's while in college and 1 year after, total about 5 years. Paul Grutter was the chef, Gordon Hopkins became chef after Paul left. What a wonderful time. It was the haven for the Hollywood elite back in the late 70 and early 80's. Got to serve and meet celebrities like Natalie Wood, Robert Wagner, Tom Selleck, Beverly Sills, Donnie and Marie, Steve McQueen, Englebert Humberdinck, Rod Stewart, Helen Reddy, Howard Cosell, Frank Gifford, so many more….the tips were fantastic! We were mostly college kids making boatloads of money, this was in the late 70's busboys were making 40-75 bucks a night, waiters were making 150-300 a night, but we were kids, spending it as fast as we made it….the menu was just fabulous. Paul Grutter was a great chef from Switzerland I think. Waiters wore tuxedos. Michel's is totally remodeled….certainly looks much different now! II've been away for over 30 years now made it back once…I have to go back……thanks
    so much!

  19. Thank you for bringing us along and sharing your experiences. This was an amazing menu and I'm looking forward to going there someday. 🤤

  20. Love Michele’s for special occasions! But I love your closing remarks for the new year more😝 happy new year, Misty and Aiden…and Terrence!
