French Bread is an excellent match for soup season!

This particular recipe is from Melissa Norris’s book Home and Handmade. She also offers a course on Home Baking that I completed.

I’m definitely not an expert. I’m still learning and have a lot more to learn.

But, if you don’t try, you’ll never make progress.

This bread turned out fantastic! Crispy crust. Chewy crumb. Delicious with our potato leek soup and garlic parsley compound butter.

Dinner was scrumptious!
