  1. 15:04 and while we are with the Thankyous : Thanks to you. It's been a real pleasure to follow your incredible adventure.
Hats off to all included in it. Bonnes fêtes de fin d'année, joyeux Noël and all to you, and to the fellow followers. À l'année prochaine.

  2. The library looks extraordinary. It’s a good thing you don’t have to paint that insitu! The roof of course is a crowning glory. Now you get the whole place to yourselves, enjoy and Christmas blessings.

  3. Wow…that is definitely a major step forward…Merry Christmas to you and Tim and I hope you both have a wonderful New Year too…🎊🎉🥳🎄🥰🇦🇺

  4. That alcove of bookcases will look so amazing when they are completed. A shame they could not fit the window back on that stairway, but is is a difficult space behind the stairs. The roof is almost done, it is a stunning piece of art all by itself. Ronnie in Saskatchewan

  6. As another commentator mentioned, the roof is a thing of sublime elegance and beauty. 47 thousand slates and some curved to match the beautiful slopes. A stunning and magnificent accomplishment! And THEN …. the Library! Watching the workers put it together was like watching a bee-hive! So beautifully thought out with the ladder bars and that lighting! How many shelves? 80?! Gorgeous and so useful with the lower cabinets as well! Wow!
I think we can honestly say, at least as a viewer, that the good news strongly outweighed the bad news! (Sorry Tim, Felicity wins!)
Also wishing you a Wonderful Holiday Season and a very exciting start to the New Year!
Can't wait to see those lions come back!!! ❤ Brian

  7. Great job in everything you do. As to the library: have you used volunteers to catalog the books and a librarian to suggest an inventory system?

  8. You, the architect, and the trades are doing an amazing job! But I do have one question are any of the trades women? With the work clothes & PPE, it's hard to tell, but as far as I've noticed, they're all men.

  9. The new library is so beautiful .
It looks like as if it has always been there. 👍
Merry Christmas and happy holidays to you and your family . 🎄✨ 🎁 ⛄

  10. For me the majesty of Purnon is knowing you’re making it look like it did the day it was built. I feel like I’m traveling in time whenever I catch a glimpse of the finished work. Incroyable ❤

  11. It doesn't appear to be enough shelving for all the piles of books shown in previous vids. Do you have further plans?

  12. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! Thank you for a great year of following your progress, Chateau de Purnon looks amazing as do the both of you! Knock on wood progress continues unimpeded for the new year. May you & yours be blessed with prosperity, good health, & love in the coming year.

  13. Merry Christmas to you and to all your wonderful artisans. Watching the progress is so heart warming because the Chateau was just too beautiful to let go to rack and ruin.

  14. I’m so impressed with all the progress and especially the library! It’s coming together so beautifully and really highlights the grand dimensions of the space. I really liked seeing the timelapse of the whole installation, it was so interesting to watch.

I’m curious about the corners in the lower cupboards. Those corners can be such an awkward space to use – at least they are in the corner cupboards of my kitchen. 😅 Were you able to use your corners or did it work better to just close them off? I couldn’t quite tell in the video.

Also, for the first time I watched the ‘short’ version of this week first but I now know I prefer the longer video. I just love how relaxing it is, with the slower pace, greater level of details, and lovely music. It is my favourite way to relax these days and I look forward to it very much.

    Thanks and Merry Christmas!
