  1. 💗It looks fabulous! I was waiting to see if you would sprinkle some pecans into the topping before baking. I know French toast doesn't usually have nuts but I may do a sprinkle.☺

  2. Love French toast casserole. I'm single so rarely make it for myself. Did yours ever look yummy!

  3. I just found your channel right before Thanksgiving and my husband is thrilled, I am a visual learner and I have made so many of your dishes, last night I made the pot pie, and it was perfect, my family loved it. Never have I been able to make a pie crust ever and for the first time it came out so pretty and flakey. Thank you so much for all your recipes and your wonderful talent. Christmas morning will be so nice.

  4. I have been looking for a “cinnamon roll” casserole to make with my day old sourdough…and then your video popped up.
    Thank you and Merry Christmas.

  5. Looks wonderful. Will definitely give it a try. I made your sweet potato casserole with the praline topping and it was a hit at Thanksgiving!

  6. This looks delicious and I plan on trying this for Christmas, I THINK I might add a little bit of oatmeal to the crumble topping. Can't wait to try it

  7. This French toast casserole recipe looks wonderful for Christmas morning. I might try to make it Christmas Eve and have it ready to go in the oven on Christmas morning. Thank you so much for sharing it.

  8. I make one with those mini cinnamon rolls you get in the tubs at the grocery store s. I put raisins and nuts in and use cinnamon a d nutmeg. Otherwise the same sort of. ❄️🎄❄️💖

  9. Thank you again, Mary Katherine. You have been a blessing this holiday season, from Thanksgiving to Christmas. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

  10. Hi Mary Katherine! Love your videos and your format—don’t ever change lol! I absolutely love to see traditional/classic and southern dishes be made by a southern cook like you, who you can tell cooks from experience and much love for her family! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!🥰

  11. Surprisingly, Mary Katherine, this is exactly how I make my bread pudding! I found the recipe for it about 40 years ago in a New Orleans cookbook by Paul Prudhomme and thought I would try it….I’ve made it ever since, in fact, occasionally I’d go to my girlfriend’s and come into where she’d have everything laid out for me to make it…it’s that good. Merry Christmas, kiddo. Love watching you.

  12. I love french toast so I will definitely be making this recipe. The easiness and you can make it the day before, what's not to like. Are you a teacher by any chance? You have such great qualities of a good teacher. You're patient, understanding and reach out to all levels of learning how to do something. Thank you for taking the time to do these videos. Merry Christmas 🎅

  13. Brilliant, thank you, I think that I will make this with dried cranberries, soaking overnight in the mixture while it sits in the fridge.
