Ingredients

4 bread slices (white/whole wheat)

2 eggs

2 tbsp milk (optional – makes the toast soft)

1–2 green chilies finely chopped (optional)

1–2 tbsp chopped onion (optional)

Salt to taste

Black pepper or red chilli powder – a pinch

Butter or oil for toasting

Instructions

Crack the eggs in a bowl.

Add salt, pepper/red chilli, milk, onions, and green chilies. Whisk well.

Heat a tawa/pan on medium flame and grease with butter/oil.

Dip a bread slice into the egg mixture, coat both sides nicely.

Place the coated bread on the hot tawa.

Cook until golden brown on one side, then flip and toast the other side.

Repeat for remaining slices.
