As usual, looks so yummy!! Btw I made the Chocolate Brownie Trifle for a family reunion right before Thanksgiving & I think it was definitely a crowd pleaser bc I only had a spoonful left! But what I loved about it is how lovely it looked as I brought it in-all the different layers topped with the cool whip sprinkled with mini-chocolate morsels-and it was very easy to make!! Thank you so much for the recipe!!

Little off topic but I have a story.. for thanksgiving I made a chocolate pie but I must not have read the directions carefully because I used only 1 box of chocolate pudding and a box of cream cheese mixed together. Now when I poured it into the graham cracker crust it looked a little wimpy. I didn’t have whip cream but then I remembered I still had a box of dream whip in my pantry that I got when I made your strawberry pie at Easter! You saved the day and a very wimpy chocolate pie!!
Hi Meme , in Australia will make a similar dish called Bread and butter pudding I spread the bread with marmalade and add basically the same ingredients, my husband absolutely loves it. I have never tried with syrup, yours looks so delicious. Regards Leanne Queensland Australia 🎉

So much easier to make this like a bread pudding. Simply cube the bread, and bake in the morning. 👍🏼♥️

We do a dessert like this but we call it bread and butter pudding. French toast we make without the sweetness and serve with bacon!
