  1. Okay so my four tablespoons of butter looked like five times the amount that you put in your recipe. Also mine never thickened. This doesn't work. This doesn't work at all……your video DOES NOT SHOW 4 TBSP OF BUTTER…. When I followed these directions, my four tablespoons of butter completely obliterated the egg and lemon juice that were in the bowl with it. There was nothing else to be seen there was so much butter. Yours does not have 4 tbsp of butter in it, my dear. You've lied in your video disrespectful 😡

  2. This recipe's garbage, and I just wasted eggs and a great deal of butter. Thanks for that.

Note to self, next time just buy a package of powder off the shelf and be done.

  3. Tried this recipe and it worked 1st time. I added 1/2 tsp dijon mustard and few shakes of all purpose seasoning and it was wonderful in out scrambled egg & ham English muffins (I'm terrible at poaching eggs but can do a mean scramble with chives etc)

  4. Honestly this was a nightmare to make and I'd love some help on what I did wrong.

I could only get the sauce to thicken up at room temperature and it took around 10 minutes of mixing by hand.

Once I was happy(ish) with my thick yet cold sauce, I poured it onto my eggs benedict. As soon as it touched the hot food it seperated leaving me with a plate of soggy food 😭

This took me like 40 minutes of stirring by hand since it seperated like 3 times but at least it's a good work out 🤷

  5. Did you use a double boiler? Thank you so much for the recipe. ❤ I haven’t had hollandaise sauce in decades.

  6. That was so easy! I watched the video and 5 minutes later I had a perfect hollandaise sauce. Thank you!
