  1. That looks delicious, is there a link for the written recipe? I would love to try this. It would be helpful to know how many cups of bread to use, and size of the baking dish?

  2. Could someone from uk pls tell me what is sultanas? Ive seen it in more than one comment.
    Also, i cut my loaf of french bread into
    cubes and dry it out in the oven a few minutes, if its not stale bread. I would also add any stale donuts or pastries on hand. I dont like raisins, but l prefer white chocolate chips in my bread pudding(Emeril Lagassee idea). Make a lot of custard so it will not be dry.yummy my favorite dessert!❤❤

In the UK we call that bread and butter pudding bread pudding is made in a similar way, using bread dried fruit and egg custard, but we siak the bread in milk for about an hour them mulch it all together then add the fruit and custard mix. Bread pudding comes out of the oven looking like a cake or a fruit loaf, bread and butter pudding, which is what you have there is a pudding or as you would say desert, because I know pudding to you is a balmange or custard/creamy type of desert. Anyway hot bread and butter pudding with custard or cream 😋 delicious whatever you call it. Bread pudding, allow it to cool then cut it into delicious slices.
    Incidentally we don't usually break the bread up into small pieces like that. We cut the slices into quarter s (triangles) butter them and some of us add the secret ingredient, marmalade, dried fruit, then we pour the custard mixture over it and sprinkle with a little sugar for a nice crispy sweet top.

  4. The recipe for those wondering:

    1- bread leftovers – the crusts and heels
    2- 4 tablespoons of melted butter
    3- chocolate chips or whatever you like
    4- 4 eggs whisked
    5- 1/3 cup of sugar
    6- cinnamon and vanilla extract
    7- 2 cups of milk
    Pois mixture on top of bread and let it sink in for 15 min
    Bake in the oven for 40 min at 350F

  6. What the heck is left over bread crust, who saves left over bread ends. Your re suppose to use stale bread or day old bread a few days after the expired date 🤦🏼‍♀️
