Ingredients:

french baguette
2-3 eggs
milk or cream
vanilla extract
sugar
ghee, clarified butter
maple syrup

Instructions:

-slice baguette at a slight angle to make the pieces larger
-crack eggs and mix just egg yolk with some milk or cream, i used milk
-add dash of vanilla extract
-let each side of the baguette slices soak through
– lather both sides with ghee
-sprinkle some sugar to get a good crust on your french toast
-cook each side for 2-5 minutes or till golden brown, pressing down on them as they cook
