  1. Last week the chef owner of @agiscounter posted a video that they were struggling and need our help. Since this is one of my favorite restaurants in New York, the very least I could do is immediately repost it. And of course I’ll continue to eat there but I’m just one customer. So more than that, I wanted to get as many people to support Agi’s as possible—and my best way of doing that is through cooking videos. So here’s a full dinner menu inspired by the food I’ve enjoyed at Agi’s. To support them you can:
    – Dine at the restaurant and order a lot of food (please order the tuna melt)
    – Buy a gift card on their website and send it to someone you know in New York
    – Plan an event at Agi’s and rent out the restaurant

If you’re not convinced, I share more about my amazing experiences there on my substack. Link is in my bio ❤️

  2. Guys he’s a chef not a restaurant critic/blogger. He was nice enough to even mention the restaurant when he didn’t have to in the first place! Perhaps he can share some footage in the future when he’s there but that’s not typically the content he makes 🤷‍♀️ he already got the word out about the place —if you want to support go there yourself

  3. This makes no sense. Just show their food so we can see if it’s worth it, because right now I rather eat at your house.

  4. When I heard the name of the restaurant, I instantly knew it had Hungarian roots. Their menu is inspired by Hungarian cuisine. Sadly, I don’t live in the US, but if you can, please support them!

  5. These comments are so dumb. Obviously the creator goes to the restaurant to support them all the time – his whole channel is about cooking at home so the natural choice is to tell people about the restaurant while making these dishes at home … the responses are kind of bizarre honestly

  6. Im genuinely curious why you decided to make food inspire by the restaurant instead of going to the restaurant itself and showing off their food, even talking to the owner. I think that would have been a far more efficient and effective way of showing support and garnering attention to the restaurant's food.

  7. pls do review of their menus there, i actually so curious bout this restaurant, even tho I'm not from America lol

  8. It was expecting you would go there to show us around or cook for the staffs, but i guess i was expecting too high

  9. So many of y'all in these comments are tone deaf. Like get out of your bubble and use some critical thinking for once.

  10. " you can find the recipes on my……"😂😂😂😂 how are you supporting the restaurant. Oh honey🤣🤦🏽‍♀️

  11. This feels like if someone asked you for a donation for breast cancer research and instead you just wore a pink shirt, like……. Okay I guess? 😭

  12. Yk, I’ve heard the food tastes better if you leave it by a window,,,,an opened one,,,, and tell me your address too for no particular reason

  13. whats the most american butchering of pronunciation you've heard today and why is it spanikopita babka edit: sorry i hit send on this comment before we got to the brioche and pannetone. im greek so that one really hit

  14. That spread looks DELICIOUS! I live across the country so I'll just send good wishes for much success and drool with envy that I can't go there.

  15. The best way to support local businesses is by going there, showing off their restaurant, food, and staff. Plus it can be a fun way to branch into new content

  16. I saw a lot of comments criticizing him for making food that the restaurant serves rather than actually buying from the restaurant but maybe he was thinking that he would use his platform to promote them? He has over 100 00 subscribers after all… Orrrrrr maybe it's rage bait and the engagement from this video will make him some money that he can use to donate to the restaurant? shrug

  17. What a weird video. " Hey guys, there's this restaurant I know thats failing, but guess what, you can make their food at home like I just did. The recipes are on my substack " 🙄🙄
