Early morning rise to check on the roof progress and discuss the outside facade work that will be done in the next couple of days. Then it’s a trip to a local organic agricultural market where wine, cheese and bread await!
Le val is charming… FIY you have neaby the famous studio "Miraval" where Pink floyd, AC/DC, the cure, string, cranberries, etc… recorded there. In fact it's in correns (in B. Pitt domain). If you want a list of nice villages around you… I would advice "les arcs", "beaudinard sur verdon" & "le castellet". You should love them.
Very nice peek at your life beyond the renovation. Agree…with you on cheese…. a disproportionate amount of my food expense would go to fromage if I lived in France. Bon journe!
Thanks for sharing your French journey! Have you decided on an exterior paint color yet? I remember hearing that some French communities have restrictions on colors of exteriors and shutters.

The prices are much lower than in Paris 😭
