One of the best client entertaining nights in the city back when I was in Corporate Banking – Balls Brothers next to Lloyds. You knew it was a legendary evening when the CFO of a FTSE100 pharmaceutical company rang the office the following morning to ask where his Treasurer was. My boys reassured him they had seen him off on his train at Liverpool St. Turns out he ended up in Kings Lynn – he lived in Cambridge; not impressed-wife had been rung in the middle of the night to rescue him.
