  2. How I make mashed potatoes:

    Microwave them for several minutes while the potato is sunk in a glass of “wo’ah”
    Peel them skin off
    Mash them with a fork
    Add water and mix to enhance texture
    Add salt and mix again
    Then Thats it

  4. I mash it with just a fork. Add some sour cream and butter and salt. Chef's kiss. Divine. Whips up into a light fluffy yummyness. No the sour cream you cant taste. Its like adding whipping cream, but less liquidy. Notice this guy's potatoes are more liquidy. I like it light and fluffy but with a good sturdy 😊structure. All that rinsing the potatoes crap is nonsense if you use russets like me. Im a chef btw. This is my instant "all in a saucepan" potatoes recipe, lol. Also dice the potatoes into small pieces and boil with passion till they are really tender. Drain your taters and put em right back into your small sauce pan to mix up and fork mash and swirl. Its easy pz and delicious.

    Then make a roux, cook it down, add some beef stock and deglazed steak pan drippings salt pepper and rosemary, and you got the gravy. You win.
