Crispy French Fries Recipe
Ingredients:
4–5 large potatoes
3–4 tbsp cornflour
Salt (to taste)
Chaat masala (optional, for seasoning)
Oil (for frying)
Ketchup (for serving)
Instructions:
1. Peel and cut the potatoes into thick French fry shapes.
2. Boil them in water for exactly 5 minutes (do not over-boil).
3. Drain the water and pat the fries dry with a kitchen towel.
4. Coat the fries evenly with 3–4 tablespoons of cornflour.
5. Heat oil and fry the potatoes on medium flame for 4–5 minutes.
6. Take them out and let them rest for 1–2 minutes.
7. Increase the oil temperature and fry again on high heat for 1 minute until golden and crispy.
8. Dish out, sprinkle with salt and chaat masala, and serve hot with ketchup.
