There is a brand new French style brasserie – Kjeringholmen Brasserie. Located inside the oil museum in Stavanger, they offer French classics such as escargot (snails), steak au poivre, steak tartare etc. The restaurant also has a great outdoor area with view of the waterfront around Kjeringholmen. This could turn out to be a great spot for drinks and food with a view on those nice, summer evenings.
