Review of King Ludwig’s Castle Restaurant at Disney Village.
Table Service.
First, we start with aperitifs, a mix of orange and mango with a slice of pineapple, complementary for Dream Pass members.
Ludwig’s so far has given us the best aperitifs.
Now onto the Main Course.
We all chose the Jarret de porc braisé a la biere, it’s pork shank braised in beer and served on a dish of sauerkraut.
Instead of the sauerkraut it was possible to order a side of french fries.
For Dessert, the Tiramisu Speculoos, tiramisu with speculoos biscuit (it was better last time though).
To drink we ordered a 100 ml of San Pellegrino and split it 3 ways.
All together:
3 x 19,20 = 57,60
1 x 6,50
1 x 5,60
69,70 EUR
– 20% coupon we received from eating at RainForest Cafe the day prior
= 55,75 EUR total
Was it worth it? No, not really.
Unfortunately the meal choices have gone down in quality. We ate here 2 years ago and the food was better as well as the variety.
We couldn’t find certain dishes this time. To us, it seems like they’ve gone more the pizza and hamburger route.
No reservations required in the afternoon. Yes for the evening.
Open Bar next to restaurant.
