8 1 in slices challah bread
1 c milk
1 1/2 tbs sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/3 c flour
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 large eggs

3 tbs butter separated

Combine all ingredients (other than the bread ya silly goose’s((and the butter that’s for the cookin)) and whisk until smooth.

Heat a skillet or non stick pan over high heat.

Melt a tbs of butter on the skillet. Dip a slice of the bread into the French toast mixture on each side and place on skillet. Repeat until skillet or pan is full without over crowding.

Cook each side until golden brown (1-2 minutes)

Repeat until all the bread has been French toasted

    Currently using heavy whipping cream, but I will try adding a splash of milk. I would think you would let the bread soak just the wee bit longer
