MetroTV, A French champagne producer is raising concerns following a new trade deal between the U.S. and the European Union that includes a 15% tariff on most goods — including wine.
Antoine Chevalier, owner of the Antoine Chevalier Champagne House, says the tariff could significantly impact prices and shake the confidence of U.S. importers. Exports to the United States currently account for 25% of his business.
