Was that trip in May half term? You were very lucky to see mont at Michel that quiet …it's usually rammed!! For future trips (as you travel with a child) then I would definitely recommend the "camping car park" scheme – it's the green bollard one you stayed at. If you buy the annual membership (£30) then you can book a pitch in advance..from 6 months ahead to on the day. Camping car park pack privileges it's called. Wouldn't be without it for peace of mind when travelling with kids. X
