Hi Friends,
Those who follow this channel for advice, know I am overwhelmingly positive and only call out places that deserve it, like Savannah! Before I was making videos, Nice would be in that category as well, it is not so nice! We all know the stories, it is almost accept lore now of the rude French people in France. OK, some are resepctful of the tourist dollars and others are still miserable. Why? The government? Perhaps. But some are actually very nice like the sweet lady Anais at the James Boutique Hotel in Colmar. In fact, she couldn’t have been nicer. And our driver who picked us up at 3 am on time and got us to Basel airport so we would catch our flight. That is what travel teaches: it gets down to people and focus on the best of the best. I think God has made that part of my lesson at least, what about you? The driver’s name is Gerard Prudham and he couldn’t have been better.
Anyway, this video is about suggestions for days in cities if yougo to the Alsace Wine Region.
The focus shoudl be Colmar– you won’t be disappointed. Basel and Strasbourg and 1 -day trips.
Suggestions for wineries to visit and do recommend the wine tour we had– bring your own water and don’t come hungry– you will only receive wine tasting and cheese– just be prepared to buy a bottle! The company is called: L’Alsaciette– you can get them thru the James Boutique Hotel– highly receommend staying there!
