Ingredients:
Chicken thighs
Onions
Gruyere cheese (or Swiss cheese)
Beef broth
White wine or dry red wine
Butter
Olive oil
Fresh garlic
Black pepper
Salt

Directions
1. Season the chicken with the garlic powder and onion powder.
2. In a pan over medium heat add in oil. After the oil is hot add in the chicken. Cook for 5 minutes per side, remove, and set aside.
3. To that same pan add in butter. Once the butter is melted add in the onion.
4 Cook for 15-20 minutes stirring every couple minutes.
5 Stir in French onion soup mix packet and water. Bring to a boil.
6 Add back in the chicken, cover with the sauce, switch heat to low, cover pan and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
7 Once chicken is cooked through top with provolone cheese. Cover for 2-3 minutes until the cheese melts.

  1. Cutting an onion that way, the cheese shredding technique, the gruyere rind going in there too, the cheese dissolving into the broth… I am horrified.

  2. The shredding skills must be improved slightly . Accent and Lemon Pepper infused French Onion Chicken ………………………😑😑
